Cork Innovates Nominated for “Most Innovative Authority” Award

Cork Innovates was nominated for “Best Innovative Authority” as part of the tenth Annual Community and Council Awards.

This category is for a council that has demonstrated success in its communication policies or projects. Utilising new technologies or new media, this council effectively reaches its audience through a variety of platforms. This council may offer new amenities or services, utilizing innovative technologies or concepts that have improved the lives of the local community. Other nominees include Fingal County Council, Mayo County Council, South Dublin County Council.

Hosted by the Local Authority Members Association with sponsorship from IPB Insurance, these awards highlight and recognise community and councils together, bringing national recognition to projects and developments that may otherwise go unrecognised. Town, Burough, City and County councillors nominate projects across 20 categories that demonstrate the work implemented through unique projects that enhance their local area for the good of the community.
